‘Santex Q’ effectively combines time reporting, task managing and billing.
San Diego, CA April 12, 2007 — Santex Group, a collection of award-winning, technology-centered businesses, proudly announced today the Beta release of its project management application, “SantexQ,” an innovative new development that combines task managing, time reporting and facilitated billing in one, comprehensive tool. Appropriately nicknamed “the Q” by its developers, SantexQ is a groundbreaking “hybrid” in the class of project management software — evidencing Santex Group’s endeavor to “embrace technology to empower people” and businesses throughout the world.
Santex Group’s unique tool is set apart because of its “all-in-one” nature — effectively combining processes that many individual management tools have to offer. SantexQ is able to help a wide range of dynamic businesses with maintaining internal communication and vital common ground during the planning and delivery of their project goals. Among its many other features, SantexQ helps to budget and report resource time and will allow its users to generate invoices and bill clients through an online payment gateway integration once the fully-functioned billing feature is implemented upon the tool’s full release.
The idea of creating such a tool had actually been in the Santex queue for years. After two preceding internally-used versions, the driven developers of two Santex Group companies, santex-net and Santex Standard, accepted the challenge to create the third version of the tool, slated to be released and marketed to the public. Under the inspired direction of Juan C. Santiago, president and CEO of Santex Group, the new version of the tool was developed and SantexQ was ready for public launch within nine months.
“After years of face-to-face interaction with other project management tools, we came to the conclusion that we needed to develop ‘the one.’ We took it personally. The key was to understand what an organization really needs in order to overcome the every day challenges when dealing with projects, deadlines, human resources and customers,” says Santiago. “I like to say that as the product develops over time, the Q will be everything you need and nothing you don’t.”
The Beta release of SantexQ also includes the launch of an informative marketing site (www.santexQ.com) to which visitors can refer to learn more about the tool and its features and benefits. The marketing site serves also as home to the Q’s online support resources and discussion forum. As the tool stands today, Santex Group decided to offer the tool free of charge.
As their newest development, SantexQ joins its successful predecessors in the line of Santex Group’s innovative tools. Among others, Santex Group’s latest offerings include e-Connect, a robust e-mail marketing tool, and GoSasa, America’s leading online classified search engine. Since its foundation in 1999, Santex Group has committed to helping people grow their ideas into a profitable reality with their tools and expertise in business strategies.

I tried the Q and so far so good.
One of the things I liked the most was that I was able to get it going in no time.
Love the interface. Hope stays free!
Great alternative to Basecamp.
James.

I tried it too and agree with your comment on the interface. Is intuitive and well put together.
By far the best free tool of its kind out there nowadays.
I got our projects up and running in just a few minutes.
Definitely an alternative to basecamp.
Sam.

I agree with James’ comment, I’ve been using the Q since it came out in April, and I love the simplicity to it, and how everything is easy to access.
I hope it also stays free.
